SWA sheds light on occupational sunlight and noise hazards

Costing $41 million in payouts, 3600 workers compensation claims were lodged for occupational noise induced hearing loss during 2007–08. Meanwhile, an estimated 200 melanomas and 34,000 non-melanoma skin cancers are caused through occupational exposure in Australia each year.
