Miner injured during tacitly encouraged laundry activity


The Queensland Industrial Relations Court has determined that a worker, who herniated a disc while carrying his washing, is eligible for compensation with respect to his injury because it occurred during an overall period of employment while undertaking an activity tacitly encouraged by his employer.
